That old adage “when it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” is a standard approach that Cessna engineers use when they are designing aircraft for their Citation business jet line. A lot of basic design features which have been proven over the years seem to re-emerge with every brand new model that hits the market. Released in 1997, the Citation Bravo does the job perfectly.

With more than 603 aircraft made when production stopped in 1994, the venerable Citation II was very much in need of a technological overhaul. Thus emerged the Citation Bravo. After receiving FAA certification in the summer of 1996, the Citation Bravo promptly made a name for itself in the light jet aircraft market. Furnished with more powerful Pratt and Whitney PW530 engines, a trailing link landing gear system used for much smoother landings, along with the most recent Honeywell avionics package for additional safety, the Citation Bravo is one of a kind.

Built in 2002, Desert Jet’s Citation Bravo features the utmost in cabin comfort, luxury and versatility. Together with seating for nine people which features a two seat divan, center club seating in the main cabin for six plus a belted lavatory seat in the rear of the aircraft, there is a great deal of room to go around. Are you feeling hungry? Make the most of the fully stocked refreshment center on board. Feeling tired? Cessna engineers redesigned the Bravo’s fuselage to minimize cabin noises to enable a more relaxed flight experience.

Do you have a tendency to pack heavy for any trip? Not a problem. With some of the best luggage room in its class, the Bravo has space for two sets of golf clubs plus bags in its completely enclosed rear baggage space, accommodating a weekend outing in Pebble Beach with much ease. Tired of shoveling snow off of your driveway? The Bravo is the perfect jet to escape the harsh winters of Canada. With a range of over 1200 nautical miles, fly non-stop from Calgary to Palm Springs in a little over 3 hours.

While the original Citation II and the Citation Bravo might appear similar on the outside, it’s what is on the inside that is important. Not only do you get the same dependability, performance and versatility of all the previous generation Citation aircraft, the Bravo is designed for luxury, placing it in a class of its very own.

Appropriate for the aircraft name, the word “bravo” is frequently employed to express a job well done. Jet aircraft operators and passengers alike are in agreement with this sentiment as even though production ceased several years ago, the Citation Bravo will continue to be a prominent figure in the private jet aircraft marketplace for a lot of years to come.

Desert Jet is a full-service aviation management company that provides clients with expertise in acquiring and operating private jet aircraft, and offers on-demand charters in its fleet of jet aircraft. Desert Jet was one of the first jet charter providers in the world to become IS-BAO certified, exceeding a global industry safety standard.
