Sun, Sand And Holiday Hotels

Long Beach MS hotels offer one of the best places to stay for a Gulf Coast vacation. Over 13,000 hotel rooms are available along the coast and the number of beaches can hardly be counted. But Long Beach shines bright among all these star destinations, largely because of the friendly and incredibly strong community ties that bind people together.

The town was completely totaled by Katrina in 2005 but has still managed to get up off the mat and rebuild facilities for visitors. Then the BP oil spill came along in 2010 and knocked them out again. But they’re still standing, with the white sand beaches just as pristine and beautiful as before and restaurants overflowing with seafood and Cajun cooking.

As for the hotel stay, there are five choices. The best of these properties are right on Highway 90 which runs along the coast. It’s just about perfect for a sun and sand vacation, with the waters of the Gulf and the white sand right across the road and everything else within easy reach.

There are a couple more choices inland for those who prefer a secluded stay. Inland in this case is a relative term, because everything in town is just a walk from the coast. But for those seeking a respite and a quiet getaway, a nice cozy room about 10 minutes from the tourist crowd on the Gulf may be a blessing.

Whether on the Gulf or inland, the major attractions and places worth visiting are all nearby. The airport and Island View Casino in adjacent Gulfport can be reached within minutes, and the Seabee Museum is even closer. The piers and harbor are popular hangouts for visitors, with a nice view from the waterfront restaurants and cafes.

But breakfast is taken care of by the long beach ms hotels. They call Long Beach the Friendly City, and the hotel staff will go out their way to help guests. The level of personal care and attention provided keeps people coming back every year for more of the same.
