The city of Louisburg is a part of a state full of heritage. The state has accrued a serious of nicknames throughout its history that have come to describe its beauty, location and legacy. Which came first, the river or the state? Normally smaller assets, like a river or a mountain, is named after the larger body that it belongs to.
