If you have found this page chances are you are you Planning a trip to Varadero or you have actually booked your trip and want to know more about Varadero’s nightlife. Below you will find a list of the best night clubs, cabarets and bars in Varadero Town.

Almost every hotel here has some form of nightly entertainment, usually a Broadway theatre review or local cabaret-style show. These can vary from sadly comic to totally professional. Most give way to a dance party.

Where to go outside your hotel.

Tropicana Matanzas, is located about 20 minutes away on the outskirts of Matanzas. Other cabaret options include the Cabaret Continental at Varadero Internacional (tel. 45/66-7038; cover CUC$10/US$11/5.40); the Mambo Club at Gran Hotel, Carretera Las Morlas Km 14 (tel. 45/66-8565; cover CUC$15/US$16/8.10); and the Palacio de La Rumba at the Hotel Bella Costa, Avenida Las Amricas (tel. 45/66-8210; cover CUC$15/US$16/8.10).

Other Cabarets/Clubs in Varadero worth mentioning are Mambo Club, La Rumba and Cabaret Continental in the International Hotel.

Opening from Tuesday to Sunday, the new Casa de la Msica located in Avenida Playa, kicks off at 10:30pm with different shows and turns into a disco afterward. Cover is US$10 or 5.40 aprox.).

But my top recommendation has to go for La Comparsita sited inCalle 60 and Avenida Tercera. The place is built to re-create the feel of a colonial-era courtyard. Its outdoor space houses hundreds of locals and tourist every night until early hours of the morning.

Cueva del Pirata, Autopista Sur Km 11 (tel. 45/66-7751), is a midsize cave where you can discover the secrets within this natural theatre when music and dance shake the club. Dancers spice up the night with their festive costumes while performing a pirate-themed floor routine. Guests can create their own dance moves at the disco after the show. This natural cave has been transformed into a town favourite.
